With a sleek new showroom and collaborative office space in the heart of the capital, the global sports apparel business needed to quickly implement video conferencing facilities that looked every bit as polished as the environment around them. About Outerstuff

With heritage harking right back to the 1980s, Outerstuff is one of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers of licensed sports apparel. The team works with some of the biggest names and brands in global sports, including the NFL, NBA, and Formula 1.

The Challenge

While originally established in New York, Outerstuff has since expanded internationally, and its EMEA headquarters are now based in London. However, its franchise partners, retailers and brand contacts remain firmly spread across the globe, meaning that video conferencing plays a critical role in keeping communication flowing smoothly across all teams. Meeting room technology that matched both the demands of the business and the aesthetics of their newly updated office space was a critical part of the London move.

In particular, Outerstuff needed consistency across a variety of new meeting spaces. With a significant number of meetings taking place with external participants, staff needed to be able to quickly schedule, launch, and manage Microsoft Teams meetings without delays or technical hiccups. Reliability and meeting quality were also essential, and the video conferencing solutions installed needed to support cross-globe collaboration seamlessly with crystal-clear audio and video.

It was also important that the visual finish of the Teams Rooms installation was on par with the functionality. Outerstuff’s new headquarters featured a modern, premium fit-out that reflected the brand’s reputation for apparel. The Solution

Thoroughly understanding these challenges and requirements, the Agile Comms team specified and installed modern Yealink Teams Rooms solutions across five meeting rooms within Outerstuff’s London headquarters.

Across two days onsite, Bryn completed the installation and setup, delivering a consistent Microsoft Teams Rooms experience throughout the office. Each meeting room was equipped with professionally installed displays, optimised Yealink all-in-one meeting bars, and the touch control panels required for staff to manage meetings with minimal effort.

As with all of the Teams Rooms installations we deliver, attention to detail was key throughout every stage of this video conferencing solution. The chosen hardware was carefully integrated into each space to maintain the wider clean and contemporary look, with neatly managed cabling and properly mounted screens that blended into the wider workplace aesthetic. 

The Results
