Here at Agile Comms, we’ve always worked our hardest to make sure that our business has a positive impact beyond the telecoms industry. One of our core values is ‘caring’, and this extends from our clients and team to the wider Devon community that we’re proud to be part of.
For this reason, we are incredibly proud to be returning as one of the main sponsors of RunDevon for 2026.
This event has always meant a lot to us. Before Agile Comms even existed, co-founder Ollie Jackman set himself the tough challenge of running from the northernmost point of Devon all the way down to the southernmost. All of this was in aid of Young Devon – a charity supporting vulnerable young people across the county – and has since become one of Devon’s most exciting endurance events.
Now heading into another year, RunDevon continues to grow and bring together runners, businesses, supporters and volunteers to raise money for this great cause.
Inspired by Ollie’s original challenge, RunDevon is a coast-to-coast running challenge that takes in some of Devon’s best scenery. The route itself follows Route 27, starting in Ilfracombe and heading all the way down to Plymouth, passing through Barnstaple, Okehampton and Tavistock.
Those wanting to take on the challenge can do so in different ways, and the event is by no means exclusively for ultra runners. There are multiple different distances you can sign up to complete, from the full 92-mile ultra to the final 9 miles. Whichever distance you choose, the event has an incredible atmosphere and brings together individuals and businesses supporting a wonderful charity.
Young Devon works with young people facing challenges, including homelessness, unemployment, family breakdown, and mental health struggles. Every year, they support thousands of young people through housing projects, mentoring, wellbeing services and employability support. The impact this work has across the county is huge, and events like RunDevon play a vital role in generating funding and awareness for Young Devon’s amazing services.
