Our work with Abri, one of our biggest clients, is the perfect example of this client-first approach. Having grown from a small initial project into a multi-site upgrade, we are delighted to have been firmly established as the housing association’s go-to video conferencing partner across the South of England.
About Abri
Abri is one of the South’s largest housing providers, owning and managing over 50,000 homes and community assets. As a not-for-profit organisation that serves over 114,000 people, they are focused on providing affordable homes and building communities across social rent and shared ownership.

The Challenge
Based in Eastleigh but with a presence across the whole region, seamless communication between sites is critical to Abri’s success. When we started working with them, video conferencing was already central to day-to-day operations. However, poor setup and outdated technology were holding them back, and modern, reliable, and scalable video conferencing solutions were required to support internal and external collaboration as the housing association continued to grow.
Abri also needed a video conferencing partner who could tailor these solutions to the unique challenges of their meeting room. From smaller huddle rooms to large boardrooms, no two spaces were the same. In addition, the housing association’s Eastleigh office even had rooms which were divisible, presenting a unique challenge to make the most of such a flexible space with a system that could work however the room was configured.

The Solution
Over the course of five projects, Agile has specified, installed, and supported 26 Yealink Teams Rooms solutions for Abri, each equipped with the right technology to suit the specific space.
The first part of the process was the installation of two ad-hoc Yealink Teams Rooms, essentially acting as a trial to give the IT and leadership teams at Abri the chance to both test out new video conferencing technology and get a true feel for the quality of Agile’s service and installation standards.
The success of the initial Yealink Teams Rooms solutions led to a full competitive tender for 13 meeting rooms at Abri’s Eastleigh site. With full confidence in our previous work, we won this project and delivered a complete installation over a single weekend. The project included a mix of different hardware depending on the requirements of each space, including Yealink A20s, Yealink A40s, and MVC 860s. Regardless of room size and type, the focus was on creating professional and user-friendly spaces and equipping staff at Abri with reliable, high-quality video and audio capabilities. Our team also ensured that each room was installed in a tidy and intuitive manner to eliminate any friction or teething problems as staff adapted to the new technology.

The Results
Abri’s meeting culture has gone from strength to strength as a result of the video conferencing solutions we have provided. Regardless of working location, staff at the housing association now benefit from consistent and easy-to-use Yealink Teams Rooms devices, boosting collaboration and communication. Divisible rooms can also be flexibly adapted without any negative impact on video meeting quality, and staff confidence in the technology has grown significantly, with notably fewer hiccups or last-minute calls for IT support.
Importantly for us, Abri’s decision to come back to Agile for multiple projects is a testament to the relationship and trust we have built together. Following the Eastleigh project, Abri again placed further orders across additional sites, and we continue to help them scope additional opportunities and requirements.
